Fort Myers Beach is a 7 mile long island bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Estero Bay to the east. Visitors to the island can enjoy swimming, shelling, sunsets, boating, fishing, diving, canoeing, jet skiing, parasailing, biking, skimboarding, a sunset cruise, shopping, movies, scooter rentals, the day spas, casino boats, golfing and just lounging on the beach...all without leaving Estero Island.
For a day off the island, visitors can enjoy golfing on one of the many championship courses nearby, shopping at any of the outlet malls or fine shops, sightseeing in the historic downtown district, exploring the Everglades, catch a MLB Spring Training game, visit the zoos and nature parks, enjoy fine arts found throughout Lee and Collier County or take a memorable trip to Key West on the express boat.
